Today, your adventure begins at the unique Marino Ballena National Park in Uvita. From an aerial view, the peninsula of the beach resembles the shape of a famous whale tail, hinting at today's excursion. On this boat trip, you’ll experience the largest mammals of the sea up close, with your guide and captain on the lookout for humpback whales and dolphins. The expanse of the ocean and these majestic creatures offer an unforgettable experience. Depending on water conditions, you might also explore underwater and snorkel among the coral reefs. After a delicious lunch by the shore, the journey continues to the Gulf of Nicoya. On the way, you'll make a brief stop at the Tárcoles River. Here, you’re welcomed to taste the freshest regional delights—fish, seafood, plantains, and salad—all straight from the sea. By visiting, you support the community of Isla Venado, dedicated to sustainable fishing and ecotourism. Afterward, our local guide Allan takes you on a tour of the island’s hidden gems.
